UniTrain Course – RFID in motor vehicles

$0.00

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is the name for a technology featuring a transmitter and receiver system capable of automatic, contactless identification using radio waves. An RFID system consists of a transponder (inside the key to the vehicles) which contains a unique code along with a reader module inside the vehicle itself which reads this ID. Being part of the key, such transponders form the backbone of electronic immobiliser systems. A transponder is inserted into the ignition and read there by a reader coil inside the ignition lock. Its stored code allows it to supplement the original key function for the purposes of recognition. It is usual for “crypto-transponders” to be used for this purpose. Their contents cannot be manipulated without destroying them.
